In 2017 I survived a ruptured arteriovenous malformation (AVM), a life changing event which opened my eyes to what GOD had been doing to save my life by causing me to wait fourteen and a half years before finally having children.
The AVM also connected me to a special community facing this rare congenital condition.
Now I am among those who know that “it’s only rare until it happens to you”.
Through my book I have been able to join those who bring more awareness to this little-known and often misdiagnosed condition.

My AVM experience has helped me see that GOD’s kindness may often come disguised as meanness. But we can rest assured that in the meantime, HE is working all things for our good and in accordance with HIS purpose for our lives, because we love HIM.
